Dear Christian Indies,
The ladies and I have decided to spend the next few weeks exploring the theme, “March Into Marketing.” When this determination was made, I confess that my initial thoughts were, “beware the Ides of march!”
Why did I have such a strong reaction, you may ask?
Well, fair Indie, it is because all of marketing remains a flummoxing, troublesome area of woe for me! Marketing is an aspect of my writing career I have been loath to explore and/or conquer, and I know that having the other ladies really hammer down on all the ways one can market one’s work is going to provoke me to grow in this area.
So, at the end of the day, “Marching” into marketing is going to be a wonderful journey for me. I am sure to grow as a writer and as a professional as we focus the next few shows on this, an area of personal weakness.
We’re kicking things off with the basics of marketing—what it is and what it isn’t, and all of the very fundamental pieces of a good marketing strategy, some of which you might have overlooked if you find yourself a step or two ahead of me on your own personal marketing “march.”
So whether you’re a newbie or an old hand at marketing, we promise today’s show will be both informative and fun—an episode that you won’t want to miss!
See you there,
