Dear Christian Indies,
I don’t know about you, but after wrapping up the business plan episodes last week, I was about ready to wrap my head in vinegar and brown paper and, “surrender, Dorothy!” I mean, seriously – the amount of content we’ve poured into you in just a couple of weeks must be kind of overwhelming; in just a few hours, we’ve managed to cover so much – why you need a business plan, what you should include, but also all the many decisions which must be made before you are able to put pen to paper.
We hope we haven’t entirely overwhelmed you, and that by now you understand that a business plan is not meant to be a “jailer” or a “punishment,” and creating one is not meant to be a “chore,” or, “homework!” Hopefully, you now have your business plan in its rightful place within the scope of your career – at the foundation of any decision you make for your business.
Creating a business plan is only the first step in a journey toward where you want to be this year. But great as a business plan is, it lacks a certain specificity; it doesn’t necessarily provide you with an obvious “how do I make all this happen?”
What is the next step along the journey to publication, you may wonder? Well, handily, that is determined by the very business plan you just created! That’s right – on this week’s episode, we’re going to take those business plans and turn them into actionable goals you can set, thereby increasing your confidence as you move ahead in 2021! We’ll cover the basics of goal setting and speak about the importance of balancing accountability and grace. It is sure to be an episode you will not want to miss!
See you there!
